Тормозят игры

Сегодня купил монитор BenQ V2420H с диагональ 24, на максимальном разрешении 1920x1080 тормозят некоторые игры, к примеру Assassin`s Creed 2 при таком разрешении отчетливо демонстрирует слайд шоу. Странность и удивление с моей стороны оправдывается т.к. видеокарта довольно неплохая, да и проц пожалуй тоже. На видеокарте драйвера последние.

Да, видеокарта неплоха, даже и весьма. Камешек тоже из недурных. Кстати... От монитора, по сути - мало что зависит...

Другое дело, что разрешение - весьма высокое, что неминуемо сказывается на производительности. В данной ситуации - три варианта...

1) Понизить разрешение до исчезновения фризов, оставив все технологии улучшения изображения включёнными.

2) Уменьшить (вплоть до выключения, если понадобится) улучшалки. Сглаживание и т.д.

3) Комбинировать разрешение\понижение настроек улучшалок.

Странно еще то, что к примеру демоверсия Crysis 2 где графа будет получше, не тормозит совсем (!)

Может быть дело в очень уж сильно нестандартном разрешении 1920x1080? В некоторых играх оно вполне может некорректно поддерживаться.

1920*1080 - это самый стандартный стандарт: FullHD.

это все остальные, отличные от 16:9 или 4:3 - нестандартные.

к примеру, на мониторе 1400*900 при соотношении сторон 16:10 у меня в Сталкере низ экрана "уходил" (строчка с элементами индикации была обрезана), а в скриптовых сценах постоянно были шторки.

- в настройках убери сглаживание (Сайпрессы вообще АА выше х4 очень не любят).

- жесткий диск на сколько забит?

Отключите вертексное освещение в игре, если есть такой параметр. У меня при задействовании онного на 5970 2гб, в Сталкере "Чистое небо", тоже начиналось слайд-шоу. И уменьшите разрешение экрана. Для 5870 - 1920*1080 все же перебор...
